Leslie C. Gosule, CPA, CVA, MST, PFS has obtained the Certified Valuation Analysts (CVA) certification. The past President of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts Massachusetts Chapter, Les leads the firms valuation and litigation support department. Les had given lectures at past annual NACVA conferences, as well as to local judges, attorneys, bankers and businesses in the valuation field.
Jonathan Ames, CPA, CVA, CFFA has obtained the Certified Valuation Analysts (CVA) certification as of November 2004 and his Certified Forensic Financial Analysts (CFFA) accreditation as of May 2006 thru the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). NACVA’s Certified Valuation Analysts (CVA) and Accredited Valuation Analysts (AVA) are the only valuation credentials accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
NACVA trains and certifies CVAs to perform business valuations as a service to both the consulting community and the users of their services. Through training and rigorous testing, CVAs demonstrate they are qualified to provide capable and professionally executed valuation services.
The Certified Forensic Financial Analyst (CFFA) credential is designed to provide assurance to the legal community – the primary users of litigation consulting services – that the designee possesses a level of experience and knowledge deemed acceptable by the Institutes to provide competent and professional forensic financial support services.
Les and Jonathan have performed business valuations and forensic accounting engagements for a variety of matters, including, but not limited to divorce matters, stockholder disputes, purchase and sale agreements, alleged theft and lost profit calculations. In addition, the firm has consulted with and written multiple damages reports for an international insurance company for deposition and subrogation purposes.
Les has provided successful expert testimony on numerous occasions in Massachusetts and New Hampshire in the business valuation and forensic accounting field.
